Our Story

Copy of OrthoCare Logo.png

Our founders have over 30+ years of combined experience in the field of orthopedics and fracture management. As experts in the field, we have developed a passion and expertise for the art of orthopedic splint and casting. We believe that proper technique in this craft has been lost over the recent past. It is this belief that has inspired us to create OrthoCare, a hands-on training program for healthcare professionals.

With the proliferation of urgent cares and stand-alone emergency departments, combined with the workforce shortage, the need for our services is vital to ensuring the highest quality of care. We provide a best-in-class service tailored to the specific needs of our clients. Specializing in all orthopedic splinting and casting techniques, we serve urgent cares, emergent departments and medical clinics in order to improve and maintain this craft to the highest standard.

  • Why would an organization choose to use OrthoCare services?
Currently the training for medical assistants, ED technicians and orthopedic technicians is lacking in hands-on educational programs prior to entering the workforce. Frequently new staff is forced to learn orthopedic splinting and casting on the job, which is usually insufficient to learn proper technique. Due to the nature of fracture and injury management, Inexperienced and unqualified staff can be a liability for an organization and lead to poor patient outcomes.
  • What is your pricing model for these services?
We provided a taloired and individualized training program for each of our clients based on their specific needs. A large hospital based emergency department will have different goals than a independently owned urgent care. It also depends on the skill-set (casting/splinting) that is reuqested and the amount of individuals needing training. It is best just to send us an email and we can help you find the right service at an appropraite price.
  • Where are you located?
We are based out of Phoenix, Arizona, but we do not have a physical location. In an effort to provide unmatched customer service, we bring our services to your facility and provide training on-site. We also provide seminars at locations throughout Arizona for individuals to participate without having to depend on employer based training.
